Technical analysis uses different charts to find trend lines with the help of other statistical or mathematical tools such as patterns. Many traders prefer this type of analysis over the fundamental one because it's easier to monitor - they don't have to watch the news all the time and wait for all sorts of indicators to come out.
True, technical analysts have to watch the charts to know where the currency prices are going and maybe confirm their predictions with one or two indexes, but they don't have to. Today many online brokers provide traders with streaming news and off-the-shelf charts with trend lines.
Thus you don't have to be "on-call" all the time waiting for indicator X, Y, Z to tell you what to do.
When I was trading with Avafx these charts helped me to become quite a successful trader. I admit that it was hard to anderstand the technical analysis first, but once you get the principal, it becomes easier.
And donn't be surprised to hear this name - I don't believe that Avafx scam. I've traided with them for a couple of years, not without some glitches but nothing major. Don't give in to the rummors.
